It is the policy of the Owners
and Management of Southern Industrial to provide a safe and
healthful place of employment for our employees, to promote
and encourage a proactive safety culture, and to do
everything reasonable to protect our people, those who work
around us, and all equipment, property and other assets from
accidental losses.
In addition to Southern
Industrial’s Safety Policies and Procedures, it is our
intent to follow and comply with all of our Customers’
requirements, any applicable manufacturer’s recommendations,
and all local, state, and federal safety and environmental
standards, codes, laws and regulations. We expect every
employee of Southern Industrial, our subsidiary operation,
Southern Crane, and our
subcontractors to perform their jobs in a safe manner and in
accordance with the procedures outlined in our Safety
Manuals and our Customers’ Safety Programs every minute of
every workday.
Our Field Safety Manual, our
Hazard Communication Manual, and our smaller pocket-sized
Safety Handbook are designed to be working reference tools
for everyone at Southern Industrial. These manuals contain
the practical information that we use to set up and
administer job-site safety that complies with OSHA/MSHA
regulations and meets our Customers’ safety requirements. |
