Southern Industrial has been in business for over four decades, and we have been through many economic business cycles. Although there are more plant consoli­dations and plant closures during an economic down­turn, even during good times, our customers are always fine-tuning and optimizing their manufacturing opera­tions requiring them to shift, redeploy, and relocate manufacturing equipment, machinery and systems. Therefore, almost every week at one or more locations, Southern Industrial is moving, relocating, warehousing, hauling, and re-installing manufacturing and process machinery and equipment.

We move single pieces of equipment, we move entire lines of equipment, we move whole plants, and we have even moved multiple plants as part of the same overall consolidation project. We move machines from one side of a plant to the other; we move plants across town, across the country, and overseas.
