Confidential Pharmaceutical Client 7

We provided full electrical system work, including instrumentation and controls, as well as equipment rigging and installation for this new biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

Electrical controls installed at a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility

Value Delivered

Because of circumstances outside of SIC’s control, electrical construction was significantly behind schedule (eight weeks) when our team mobilized to the site. Through diligent planning and providing a 40-person crew, we were able to move the electrical scope from being eight weeks behind to almost a month ahead of schedule by the end of the project. The client appreciated our ability to be flexible with the changing landscape of the project.

Client Objectives

The client desired a new biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility on an existing operating site to support increased capacity for sterile liquid and lyophilized filling, pre-filled syringes, and solid dose manufacturing.

Solutions

SIC provided electrical, instrumentation, controls and process equipment rigging, and installation associated with the project. Because of our team’s planning, execution, and diligent monitoring of productivity, we brought the electrical work back from being eight weeks behind schedule to on time within twelve weeks. At the end of the project, the electrical work was almost a month ahead of schedule.
